What is Baptism?
Baptism is one of the two ordinances that Jesus ordained for the church in the New Testament. It is an outward demonstration of an inward decision to lay your life down at the feet of Christ and follow Him. With baptism, one identifies with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, and is making a public declaration that they belong to Christ and are a part of the church.
